Can I take the Aerial and not the ground Recreational Adaptive training?
No, this is a comprehensive training that introduces the teacher to both ground and aerial modifications for teaching.
Can I obtain certification?
Certifications are available for the Aerial Adaptive training. During the training, we will review your Teacher Training application and determine your desire to obtain a certification and pre-assess your readiness. Typically, trainees return home to practice the new aerial techniques they have just learned and return at a later date for Aerial Adaptive certification. However, if you have already acquired ample practice hours, and if we determine that you are ready, you will take the formal assessment. Upon passing, providing proof of CPR, and submitting your application, you will be awarded the certificate for Beginner Level 1 Adaptive Aerial.
Will I be certified after I attend the training?
Most trainees do not certify on their first time to our studio. This all depends on individual skill levels and amount of previous experience teaching.
How do I obtain Additional Training?
Additional Training is offered during our Circus Arts Therapy® Training (CAT®T).
Trainees who attend a Recreational Adaptive Teacher Training and return for that Summer's CAT®T training will be able to skip some classroom hours (or stay and review) and will be able to apply the cost of this training to their Summer CAT®T training.
