Did you enjoy learning to juggle in our Introductory Circus Arts Therapy® course? Circus Arts Therapy® Training Level 2, will continue to introduce you to hooping and additional juggling exercises, as well as a variety of sensory-based exercises. You can add these new additions to your toolbox and use them in individual, sibling, partner, family, and group sessions.
The Circus Arts Therapy® Training Level 2 course is based on the publication Circus Arts Therapy® Fitness and Play Therapy Program Shows Positive Clinical Results which can be found in the International Journal of Play Therapy, April 2018 edition here: http://dx.doi.org/10.1037/pla0000068.
During this course we will discuss sensory integration and we will review in detail the therapeutic language used in the Circus Arts Therapy® room, the application of trauma informed principles and cultural humility in the Circus Arts Therapy® room.
