Fact: Getting into shape and keeping fit is an accepted necessity for circus performers, especially for trapeze artists and balancing acts!

Carrie Heller has carefully designed her Circus Arts Fitness Program to take full advantage of her knowledge and skills as a circus performer. Circus Arts Fitness is not only beneficial it is the most enjoyable and exciting way to get in shape, and keep in shape.

CIRCUS ARTS THERAPY

Circus Arts Therapy is unique experiential therapy utilizing both ground and aerial equipment in a safe, enthusiastic environment.

This therapy is designed for children and teens with attention difficulties, behavioral and emotional issues, as well as physical challenges. Therapy group participants will work on skill development of focus, coordination, balance and flexibility, and social and emotional growth - in addition to improving muscle tone and overall strength.

Carrie also works with adults particularly those experiencing behavioral and emotional issues, as well as physical challenges.

WORKSHOPS

All workshops have a basic core, but each is tailored to meet the specific needs of the group or organization being trained.
Some will include a substantial amount of circus related activities, while others might focus more on the therapeutic aspect.
Workshops can take place in a variety of places, and the curriculum is very flexible. Carrie can customize the classes to accomodate specific needs of the students. AERIAL CIRCUS TRAINING & SAFETY MANUAL

The Aerial Circus Training and Safety Manual, an illustrated guide authored by Carrie, contains over 1000 photos with step-by-step instructions on how to do specific tricks and combinations on aerial equipment.

The book is over 300 pages, and includes safety information as well as other tips gathered from experienced aerialists. Both teachers and students, ranging from beginner to advanced levels, will find this an invaluable reference material.
