This workshop, which may or may not include Circus Arts Therapy techniques depending on preferences, teaches staff about working with challenging children and children-at-risk. It defines how to recognize and report child abuse and invites inquiry, investigation, and reflection on issues such as racism and gender bias. The workshop offers valuable information on communication methods including how to use āIā statements, conflict resolution techniques, and how to both talk to and listen to children in order to meet their needs. | |
