Carrie Heller, M.S.W
., Founder and Executive Director of the Circus Arts Institute, is a Professional Trapeze Artist as well as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Carrie has over 20 years experience in the world of circus arts as a teacher, choreographer and performer.
Carrie began her Circus Training at the age of 8 from the Florida State University Flying High Circus and continues her studies in circus, dance, yoga and martial arts.
She has traveled throughout the world lecturing on topics relating to both circus and therapy. She served as a trainer for Cirque Du Monde; a Cirque Du Soleil Outreach Program that uses circus arts to help youth in difficulty around the world. She is also the aerial supervisor and play therapist to the internationally renowned Camp Winnarainbow in California.
